Soltilo Bright Stars have officially parted company with coach Joseph Harold Mutyaba following a poor start to the season.
Bright Stars are currently the only team yet to register a win this term and sit at the bottom of the table with three points from seven games played.
” Soltilo Bright Stars announces the mutual termination of Head Coach Joseph Mutyaba’s contract, effective immediately.” Reads a statement from the club.
Mutyaba’s departure was fueled by the club’s recent uninspiring 1-0 defeat to BUL FC at the Lugazi Stadium in Najjembe yesterday.
Ian Mutenda, who serves as the club’s Technical Director, will now serve as the club’s interim coach as the search for a new coach intensifies.
Ian Mutenda who work with Danny Kirumira and Sula Sebunza as his deputies alongside Ibrahim Mugisha the goalkeeping coach.
Bright Stars will host Kitara FC in their next game at Kavumba on Friday 8th November.
