UPL secretariat approves Mbarara City’s request to reschedule Mbale Heroes match

The Uganda Premier League secretariat has confirmed the rescheduling of match 70 where Mbarara City FC will be hosting Mbale Heroes at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara.

Earlier on the game was to be played on Friday 22nd November but will instead be played on Saturday 23rd.

This was confirmation through a document released signed by the Uganda Premier League CEO Bernard Bainamani Bampaire,

“The UPL secretariat has received a letter from Mbarara City FC notifying us that Kakyeka Stadium has been booked for another event on Thursday 21st November 2024, and would not be readily prepared to host a match on Friday 22nd November 2024.They requested a match be brought forward by a day.”

“Accordingly the secretariat has considered Mbarara City FC request and adjusted the date for the Mbarara City FC Vs Mbale Heroes FC match from Friday 22nd November 2024 to Saturday 23rd November at Kakyeka Stadium Mbarara (4:00pm)

Mbarara City FC currently occupies the eighth position with nine points from eight games.

Mbale Heroes is in the relegation zone (fifth on the table) of 16 with five points from the same number of games.
