FUFA Big League side Kiyinda Boys have confirmed the appointment of Issa Serwanja as their new head coach as earlier reported by this website.
He replaces veteran coach George Best Nsimbe who resigned from the role earlier this month,
Serwanga was Brian Ssenyondo’s assistant at Kitara before the club changed in their technical staff.
“Kiyinda Boys FC is delighted to announce Issa Serwanja’s appointment as the club’s head coach.”
He will join until June 2026 with a club option of an additional year. Coach Issa is CAF B licensed and brings a wealth of experience.” Read a statement from Kiyinda Boys
He will work with Paul Kasule as assistant coach and Shalif Kizza Ssengooba as the goalkeeping coach.
Serwanga will be in charge of Kiyinda Boys when they face Kataka FC on Sunday in Mbale.
Besides working as assistant coach at Kitara, Serwanga has also previously served at Proline and Kamwokya United.
