Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League side Wakiso Hill WFC have officially parted ways with coach Rogers Nkugwa.

This follows the club’s unconvincing start to the 2024/25 season whereby Wakiso Hill remain winless after eight games played.

” Wakiso Hill Women Football Club has with effect from 25th November 2024 agreed to part ways with Mr. Nkugwa Rogers under mutual consent.” Reads part of the club statement.

The announcement comes in the aftermath of Wakiso Hill’s 2-0 defeat to She Corporate at MUBS Arena in Nakawa.

Nkugwa helped Wakiso Hill to survive relegation last season on top of a semi-final finish in the FUFA Women’s Cup.

The Maya based club is expected to announce the appointment of the new head coach in the coming days.

Wakiso Hill currently sit second from bottom with four points accumulated from eight games.

The Antelopes will visit Tooro Queens in their next game on Saturday 30th November at Buhinga Stadium.
