Wakiso Giants host URA in a battle for two struggling sides

Struggling sides Wakiso Giants and URA FC face off on Wednesday 27th- November match day ten of the Uganda Premier League at Wakisha.

Wakiso Giants the hosts have gone five games minus registering victory, they have lost three and drawn twice on the five.

They suffered a humiliating 6-1 defeat to defending champions SC Villa in their last game at Wankulukuku in their previous game.

On the other hand URA FC has also been inconsistent they have lost the last two 2-1 and 2-0 to Maroons FC and Vipers respectively.

Wakiso Giants will be without Rahmat Ssenfuka, Derrick Kaija, Luwagga Kizito, Musa Ssegujja, Alex Komakech and Herbert Asiimwe while Marvin Mukiibi will also miss out due to school engagements.

Tonny Mawejje the assistant head coach is optimistic their efforts on working at the mentality of the team will pay off,

” We have worked work concerning the mentality of the team but we think the players are ready and prepared to get us the three points.”

“Mistakes have been rectified not scoring and conceding a lot I believe we are good to go.”Mawejje added

URA FC:

URA will be without Faisal Matovu and Denis Otim due to injuries

Alex Isabirye believes the Tax Collectors are prepared enough and ready to bounce back to winning ways,

“Loosing two games to me is not a defeat but an experience I believe the struggling has come to an end the boys will give the best and make sure we win this game”

The last eight meetings between both sides each has won three and the other two have ended in stalemates.

Wakiso Giants occupy the 13th position on the table with nine points while URA FC is eleventh with eleven points..
