Wakiso Hill 0-1 Rines SS WFC
Wakiso Hill’s winless streak in the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League continued with a 1-0 defeat to Rines SS WFC at the St. Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
High-flying forward Phiona Arach continued with her scoring form and ultimately proved to be the difference.
Arach capitalized on a lapse in defense to strike perfectly from close range in the 45th minute.
Arach’s all important goal was her 5th of the season and elevated her on level with Kawempe Muslim’s Agnes Nabukenya.
Lady Doves hot shot Resty Kobusobozi currently leads the scoring charts with seven goals after grabbing a brace in a 3-0 win over She Maroons.
Wakiso Hill remained on four points in the drop zone and will visit fellow relegation strugglers Olila High School in their next game on Saturday 14th December.
The Antelopes are the only winless team in the Women Super League after 10 games played.
Rines are 5th on the log with 17 points from 10 games played.
