Olila HS WFC 1-1 Wakiso Hill
Wakiso Hill rallied from a goal down to secure a 1-1 draw against fellow relegation strugglers Olila High School in the Women Super League in Soroti.
Olila were destined to clinch a crucial victory after breaking the deadlock through Brenda Atwani’s delivery in the 62nd minute.
Wakiso Hill equalized through captian Faridah Namirimu’s blistering free kick in the 72nd minute to settle for a point.
The result sent Wakiso Hill to five points having drawn on five occasions this season but remained the only winless side so far.
Olila who recently suffered a three point deduction, have two games in hand, one against Kampala Queens and another against Uganda Martyrs.
Wakiso Hill are expected to bolster their squad in the upcoming window ahead of the decisive second half of the season.
The Antelopes under the tutelage of coach Frank Mulindwa have their work well cut out if they are to beat the drop for a second successive season.
