Uganda Cranes and Vipers SC attacker Allan Okello has opened up about why he didn’t return to KCCA FC after termination of his employment contract at Algeria side AC Paradou.
While appearing on Pitchside, Okello asserted that KCCA FC were not making it to the point and he they took him like a stranger.
Okello joined KCCA Soccer Academy in 2015 before making his senior debut for the club on 27th February 2017 against Onduparaka.
“When I terminated my contract at Paradou, I waited for KCCA because it’s has always been my home, they started to discuss with my agents and we were not making it to the point and it looked like they didn’t want me to play for them again.
I felt treated like a stranger from a place I used to call home.”
Said Okello before revealing how he ended up at Vipers
“Then I got a phone call from Dr. Lawrence Mulindwa, I had to meet him one against one, they always say it’s hard to meet him face to face and refuse his deal and every player out there, if you meet him just know you are gone. I was nervous to meet him but he made me feel that Vipers is going to be my new home and made me feel so welcomed by the team.”-Okello via Pitchside
