The organisers of the Finance Trust Bank monthly awards have confirmed the winners in both the FUFA Women’s Super League and Elite League for the month of November at the event held at Finance Trust Bank offices in Kampala.
In the Finance Trust FUFA Women Super League, Amus pair of Faridah Bulega and Esther Namataka were named coach and player of the month.
Bulega whose side managed two wins, two draws and suffered just one defeat in the month of November won the coach of the month accolade.
Namataka clinched the player of the month award following her impressive performances in the month, scoring two goals.
She beat Kampala Queens Daisy Nakaziro and Rines SS WFC’s Phionah Arachi to the gong.
Both Namataka and Bulega were rewarded with Shs500,000 each courtesy of the main sponsors Finance Trust.
Meanwhile, St. Noa duo of Jimmy Kintu and Shivan Ashaba won the Elite Women’s League coach and player of the month awards, respectively.
Kintu’s side managed five wins in the five games they played while Ashaba scored five goals during that time.
Both were rewarded with Shs250,000 at the event that was graced by Finance Trust Bank Executive Director Annet Kiggundu.
