Rwanda Premier league side APR could land a blockbuster deal for SC Villa winger Hakim Kiwanuka in the January transfer window.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that APR have tabled a two year employment contract for the pacey winger.
Sources however reveal that the record Uganda Premier league champions have no intentions to sell Kiwanuka this transfer window.
Kiwanuka joined SC Villa at the start of the 2023/24 season on a three year deal from Proline FC.
He played a vital role for the Jogoos as they ended their 20-year title drought last term, scoring in their 2-0 win over NEC, a game that handed Villa their record extending 17th title.
This season, Kiwanuka has been in fine form scoring six goals for the reigning league champions and also earned national team call ups in both the 2025 AFCON Qualifiers and 2024 CHAN Qualifiers.
APR FC are currently second on the Rwanda Premier league table with 26 points in 12 games.
They have won the Rwanda Premier league title 22 times, 13 Rwandan Cups and 3 Rwandan Super Cups.
