Amina Nababi scored the lone goal as Sethu FC beat Sreebhumi FC 1-0 in the Indian Women’s League on Saturday afternoon.

Nababi was making her debut after joining the Indian club following her departure from Uganda’s Rines SS WFC.

Nababi scored a wonderful right footed volley in the 60th minute to win all three points for Sethu FC.

The Crested Cranes winger was voted the Player of the Match after the full-time whistle was blown.

Nababi is the second Ugandan player to score on her Indian Women’s League debut this season after Resty Nanziri who doubled the scores in East Bengal’s 2-0 win over Kickstart Karnataka on Friday.

Fazila Ikwaput (at Gokulam Kerala) is the other Crested Cranes player who features in the Indian Women’s League.
