Denis Omedi’s numbers at Kitara FC

Uganda Premier League side Kitara FC officially bid farewell to their star player Denis Omedi who joined Rwanda’s APR this transfer window.

Omedi joined the Rwanda Premier league Giants on a two year employment contract.

The Uganda Cranes striker joined Kitara FC from Booma FC in July 2023. During his time at Kitara, Omedi played 45 matches across all competitions and scored 19 goals for the club.

He made a total of 36 Uganda Premier league appearances, scoring 15 goals all coming in the 2023/24 campaign.

Omedi also played a vital role for the side during their maiden Stanbic Uganda Cup victory last term scoring two goals against Gaddafi FC and Pajule Lions FC.

He also scored twice in two matches against Libyan side Al Hilal Benghazi in the first preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
In the FUFA Super 8, Omedi scored two goals for the club.

His Rabona goal against KCCA FC in the FUFA Super 8 earned him nominations at the CAF Awards and FIFA Puskas Award.
