Striker Charles Bbaale has officially parted company with Rwanda Premier League side Rayon Sports.
Bbaale leaves the Rwandan side after a stint of one and half seasons and had six months left on his contract.
He joined Rayon Sports at the start of the previous season following an impressive campaign with SC Villa in the Uganda Premier League.
Bbaale will be remembered for guiding Rayon Sports to the 2023 FERWAFA Super Cup victory as the Gikundiro beat rivals APR FC 3-0.
Bbaale has been sparingly utilized this season under coach Robertinho and consequently spent the closing stages of the first round in Kampala.
His major contribution this season has been two league goals against Gasogi United and Musanze FC.
Bbaale’s departure escalates Rayon Sports’ pursuit for Uganda Cranes forward Fahad Bayo who is a free agent.
