Nine time Stanbic Uganda Cup winners SC Villa cruised to the round of 32 with a comfortable 3-0 win over Seeta United on Thursday at Seeta Primary COU Grounds.
Aslam Ssemakula gave the Jogoos an early lead in the 4th minute of the contest before Patrick Jonah Kakande and Arnold Odong extended the Villa’s lead in the second period of the game.
SC Villa are seeking their first Stanbic Uganda Cup triumph since the 2015 edition when they beat KCCA FC 3-0.
Last season, the Jogoos were eliminated at the round of 16 stage by eventual winners Kitara FC.
Following their victory over Seeta United, SC Villa join holders Kitara FC, NEC FC, Vipers SC, Bright Stars, URA FC, Bushenyi Veterans, Blacks Power, Simba FC, CATDA and Pakwech Youngsters Stars into the round of 32.
Action will return on Friday, January 24th with joint record competition winners KCCA FC visiting 403 Brigade at St.Daniel Comboni Secondary School in Napak.
