Kitara FC have completed the signing of midfielder Amos Etoju from Mbale Heroes, Swift Sports understands.
The lanky central midfielder will play for Kitara FC on a six month contract.
Etoju garnered Kitara’s attention when Mbale Heroes visited Hoima in the first round.
He has been seen as an essential addition in Wasswa Bbosa’s midfield that has had Solomon Okwalinga and David Ndihabwe as mainstays.
Etoju’s ball retention and neat passing are among the attributes that garnered him interest from the Wasswa Bbosa coached side.
Etoju is a former player of BUL FC, Busoga United, Malaba Youth Development Association (MYDA FC) and Jinja North United.
He returned to Mbale Heroes at the start of the season on a one year contract and went on to feature in 10 games for the Surgeons.
