Lugazi FC have completed the signing of offensive midfielder Shafiq Avemah, Swift Sports understands.
Avemah has signed a one year contract with Lugazi FC following his unannounced departure from Police FC.
Avemah is a former Express FC midfielder who played for the Red Eagles during the 2019/20 season.
Besides Express and Police FC, Avemah also previously featured for Elman Sports Club in Somalia.
He becomes the third signing of Lugazi FC in the current window after Hussein Ssenoga and South Sudanese international Lumumba Norman Eluzai.
Lugazi also had Alvin Birungi and Abdul Kalanzi sign five year contract extensions each.
The Steven Bogere coached side sit 13th on the UPL table with 14 points garnered from 15 games played so far.
