Kitara FC winger Umar Lutalo is set to reunite with his former paymasters SC Villa, Swift Sports Uganda understands.
This website can exclusively reveal that Lutalo and his representatives have already met with the record league champions and a sensational second stint at the club is on the cards this transfer window.
In case the deal materializes, Lutalo will return to SC Villa after only six months at Kitara FC whom he joined at the start of this season on a one year employment contract.
The winger won the 2023/24 Uganda Premier league title with SC Villa during his first stint.
During his first spell at the 17 time league champions, Lutalo made a total of 54 league appearances, scoring 10 goals.
The former Aspire Academy player can ably play as a left back, a left winger and an offensive midfielder.
Lutalo has previously featured for the national U20 Team The Hippos as well as the senior national team.
SC Villa have this transfer window part ways with winger Peter Onzima, defender Edward Masembe while Hakim Kiwanuka joined Rwanda Giants APR FC.
Morley Byekwaso’s side finished the first round in eighth position with 20 points and will kickoff their second round away to Wakiso Giants on 11th February, 2025.
