SC Villa assistant captain David Owori has signed a new employment contract that will keep him at the club until 2027.
Owori re-joined SC Villa in February 2023 on a two year contract and had his contract extended to end the uncertainty hovering over his future.
The versatile midfielder has mainly been deployed as a right back for the defending champions this season.
He has scored two goals so far and contributed one assist in the 15 games he has played for the Jogoos this season.
SC Villa also signed highly-rated Brian Masembe and Ashiraf Mulindi from Wembley FC and Soltilo Bright Stars respectively.
Edward Masembe, Peter Onzima and winger Hakim Kiwanuka left the club during the concluded transfer window.
SC Villa are currently sitting 8th on the Uganda Premier League table with 20 points accumulated from 15 games played.
The Morley Byekwaso coached side will visit Wakiso Giants at Kabaka Kyabaggu on Tuesday 8th February as the second round kicks off.
