KCCA FC have confirmed that the duo of Elvis Eddy Mwanje and Joseph Ogwang went AWOL.
According to the club website, the two players have been absent without leave and disciplinary action as per club policy has been initiated.
This website understands that both players are currently in the United States of America.
Mwanje joined Lindsey Wilson College last month while Ogwang features for Oregon State University whom he joined at the start of the season.
Mwanje joined KCCA FC in 2019 and played for KCCA FC Junior Team in the FUFA Juniors League in 2019/20 season.
He was promoted to KCCA FC senior team at the start of the 2021/22 season. Mwanje is also a former student of Masaka Senior Secondary.
Ogwang who plays as a defender is also a KCCA Soccer Academy graduate. In January, 2024 he has penned a four-and-a-half-year contract with the KCCA FC senior team.
He joined KCCA Academy in 2019, and was part of the KCCA FC U20 side that won the Cambiasso and Rainbow International U20 tournament in Daresalam, Tanzania.
