Six time Uganda Premier league champions Vipers SC have completed the signing of Police FC striker Isaac Ogwang.
Ogwang has put pen to paper on a two year employment contract with the Venoms.
Ogwang has been Police FC’s top scorer in the Uganda Premier league this term with six goals to his name.
He joined the Cops from Arua Hill at the start of the 2023/24 season, helping them to Uganda Premier League promotion.
He scored 12 goals as the Simon Peter Mugerwa coached side won the Fufa Big League title during the 2023/24 season.
At Vipers SC, he will fight for a starting place with the likes of Kenneth Kimera, Yunus Sentamu, Gusto Mulongo and Mohamed Salem.
Vipers also boosted their squad with the acquisition of Marvin Youngman who returned to the club after just six months at Bright Stars.
The Venoms are to begin the second round without their skipper Milton Karisa due to injury. Karisa has managed seven league goals in this campaign.
Vipers SC finished top of the league standings in the first round with 34 points, winning 10, drawing 4 and losing once to second placed NEC FC.
