Mbale Heroes signed 11 new players during the concluded transfer window in a bid to fight relegation.
The 11 players include strikers Robert Eseru and Herbert Kibirango who have been acquired from Calvary FC and Express FC respectively.
Kibirango who is returning to the club, played an instrumental role as Mbale Heroes gained promotion from the Big League last season.
Others include; experienced defender Paul Musamali who last featured from Blacks Power, Charles Ssebutinde and former SC Villa defender Joseph Kafumbe.
Midfielders Abbel Muwanguzi Sajjabi and Musa Ssali will be reuniting with coach Baker Mbowa who previously coached them at Express FC.
Striker Mark Nsubuga, defender Peter Ssenkungu and goalkeeper Jimmy Kanakulya were all acquired from Wakiso Giants.
Former Tooro United goalkeeper Simon Mabuya was also signed by the club from UPDF FC.
The Mbale based club will embark on the fight against relegation with a home game against Mbarara City on Thursday 13th February.
Mbale Heroes currently sit bottom of the UPL table with nine points garnered from the 15 games played.
