KCCA FC Chief Executive Officer, Anisha Shahir Muhoozi has reacted bitterly to the FUFA Appeals Committee decision.

On Wednesday, 5th February 2025, the FUFA Appeals Committee dismissed the appeal that was filed by KCCA FC in the case against Mbarara City.

KCCA lost their game against Mbarara City by forfeiture for fielding defender Gavin Kizito Mugweri who was ineligible to feature in the game due to card accumulation.

KCCA was dissatisfied with the FUFA disciplinary committee decision and lodged a petition which was dismissed by the Appeals Committee.

Following the dismissal of their petition, KCCA CEO Muhoozi has responded to the decision an audio on the club socials.

“It’s very absurd that the FUFA appeals committee has come up with such a ruling and their defense is that KCCA didn’t consult the FUFA competitions department.”

Said Muhoozi before adding,

“We consulted UPL and we have an email confirmation where they confirmed the card position of Gavin which was two cards. When the appeals committee comes and says we didn’t consult I am left to wonder whether they are not aware that FUFA delegated its responsibility to UPL.”

“So ultimately, what the decision is saying is that the Uganda Premier League does not work on behalf of the Federation, or the Federation is disowning the Uganda Premier League because we have valid confirmation from the UPL.”She added
