Vipers SC have been given a huge injury boost ahead of the second round of the Uganda Premier league , with their skipper Milton Karisa back on the turf.

Karisa got injured during Vipers narrow 1-0 victory over Maroons FC last month at Kitende and there were fears that he would be out of action for two months.

Vipers have, however, revealed that Karisa is back running on the turf as he continues with his recovery.

Karisa has had a significant impact on Vipers’ brilliant start to the 2024/24 season, scoring seven league goals for the club. He is the club’s second top scorer this term behind Allan Okello who has 11 goals.

During the January transfer window, Vipers SC boosted their striking line with the acquisition of Isaac Ogwang. Midfielder Marvin Youngman also returned to the club while youngster Claude Wakenge was elevated to the senior team.

Vipers SC are top of the Uganda Premier league with 34 points and will begin their second round campaign against URA FC on Tuesday, 11th February 2025.
