URA FC bounced back to winning ways with a 1-0 victory against Maroons FC on Saturday evening at Nakivubo.
Moses Aliro’s 30th minute goal was enough to give Alex Isabirye’s charges a slim 1-0 victory.
Aliro jumped high to head Nyarwa Bitanywaine Olimi’s well delivered cross that finally gave the Tax Collectors all the three points.
Earlier on in the 25th minute Ivan Ahimbisibwe had scored for URA FC only to be ruled offside.
Victory takes URA FC to the position with 27 points same as KCCA FC that hosts table leaders Vipers SC tomorrow at Lugogo.
They shift the focus to the Stanbic Uganda Cup where they play Mabira TC on Tuesday 25th- Feb at Nyakasanga grounds in Kasese.
Maroons remain eight with 23 points from 17 games.
The Prison Warders host Wakiso Giants on Wednesday 26th-Feb at Luzira.
In another game of the day SC Villa defeated Express FC 1-0 at Luzira courtesy of Jonah Patrick Kakande’s penalty.
