KCCA FC will be seeking to make amends when they host league leaders Vipers SC under the floodlights of Lugogo on Sunday.

The two sides played out to a 1-1 stalemate in their first round meeting at Kitende with Milton Karisa scoring for the Venoms before Ashraf Mugume levelled for KCCA FC.

Abdallah Mubiru’s men beat Vipers 3-1 at Lugogo last season and will be aiming to rediscover their mojo.

Mubiru asserts that his players are mentally ready for the contest and hopes for positive results

“We are still recovering from the previous game, but our physios are making sure the players are in perfect shape ahead of the game against Vipers SC. The players are ready mentally and are eager to compete. The results might not be coming now, but we will soon get it right. We are hopeful it will happen soon. We have been working on our finishing in training. We get the chances in games, but we have not been converting them; we are hopeful the players will get it right.” Said Mubiru
