Stanbic Uganda Cup holders Kitara FC will continue with their title defense with a round of 32 contest away to Kampala Regional League side CATDA FC on Thursday, 20th February.
Kitara FC head coach Wasswa Bbosa expects a tough contest against CATDA FC.
“We are playing an organized team, they have good players from the Masaza Cup competition. We give them respect but we shall handle that game like we always do. It’s a knockout game and we have to win to progress to the next stage.” Said Bbosa
Kitara will be without forward Titus Ssematimba due to injury while Fred Amaku and Solomon Okwalinga are to have a late fitness tests.
CATDA FC eliminated Mawokota United 3-0 at the round of 64 while Kitara FC kicked off their title defense with a convincing 4-0 victory over Buganda Regional League side Young Simba in the previous round at the Bombo Barracks Military Ground.
Meanwhile, three times competition winners Vipers SC will host Mbarara City FC at Kitende in the first ever competition game to be played under the floodlights.
