Players at struggling Uganda Premier league side Soltilo Bright Stars are playing under difficult conditions after going without payment for the past four months.
Bright Stars maybe struggling to keep up but also their financial state is not prevailing with the players going over four months without pay.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that the club administration had promised to resolve the situation before their Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 defeat to Police but nothing was resolved.
Since gaining topflight football promotion in 2013, Bright Stars has prevailed in the survival gymnastics but the current financial state and poor performances on the pitch this term may lead to a breakdown.
Soltilo Uganda Limited, StarTimes, SEINAN, Yoshino Motors, Jica, Jibu, Gorilla Field, Poire, kit sales and gate collections have in the previous campaigns been some of the sources of revenue for the Kavumba based side.
Bright Stars are currently second from the bottom with 11 points they have accumulated in 17 league games this campaign. They next host BUL FC in the league on Saturday.
