Alex Isabirye’s URA FC will be targeting a double over in form Kitara FC when the two sides face off at Royal Park in Butema on Saturday.

The Tax collectors beat Kitara FC 2-0 in what was Wasswa Bbosa’s first game in charge at Nakivubo Stadium last year.

Kitara FC had a torrid start to the season and have now had a change of fortunes since the arrival of coach Bbosa.

The Royals have now gone nine games unbeaten, keeping clean sheets in all of them since 1st November 2024 when they lost 1-0 to Soltilo Bright Stars FC.

The Royals come into this contest after overcoming CATDA FC 2-1 in the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 tie while URA FC edged Mabira Town Council to reach the last 16.

Bbosa has a fully fit squad and expects his side to revenge against the tax collectors

“We are playing at home and my players are focused for maximum points. URA FC is one of the big teams in the country, they have good players and a brilliant technical team. We give them respect but we are ready for the game.”

Said Bbosa during a prematch press briefing.

Isabirye on the other hand anticipates a tough game against the resurgent Royals

“We won the previous fixture against Kitara but that was coach Wasswa Bbosa’s first game in charge of the team. Our target is three points we are learning to compete. We don’t want to participate anymore, we are now competitors and i believe in my team that we shall get maximum points.” Noted Isabirye

Two points separate both sides with URA FC currently third on the Uganda Premier league table on 27 points while Kitara FC are fifth with 25 points.
