The round of 16 draws of the 2025 Kabaka Cup football Competitions have successfully been conducted today at Kawanda SS grounds.
The draws were conducted after the official launch of the competition by Owek. Robert Serwanga who witnessed a game between hosts Kawanda SS and Kyaddondo SS that ended in a barren draw.
Last edition’s losing finalists and hosts Kawanda S.S have been drawn against Richard Malinga’s Buddo SS.
St Mary’s Kitende will face off with Mbogo Mixed High School while Kawempe Muslim will play against Kawempe SS.
Kyaddondo SS play Nile High School, St Julian High School has been drawn against St.Andrews Kaggwa Gombe SS.
Lubiri SS is against St Austin
Defending champions Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga did not make it past group A.
Owek. Serwanga after officially launching the competitions appreciated all the hosts, participants and wished the best team the very best,
“I appreciate all the hosts, we have had 92 teams both secondary and primary, the schools taking part thank you so much.”
“We target giving our athletes more playing time as we prepare them to be better I wish you all the best may the best and most prepared team win the competitions.”
The competitions continue this morning and games will be played at Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga, Mbogo Mixed, Namarere, Kawanda Research, Kawempe Muslim and Kawanda SS.
