Gabonese referee Pierre Ghislain Atcho will be the center referee for the FIFA World Cup Qualifier between Uganda Cranes and Mozambique on Thursday 20th March.
The game will be played at the Cairo International Stadium in Egypt at 4pm.
Atcho is a familiar face having been the center referee during Uganda’s 2-2 draw against South Africa in the recent AFCON Qualifiers.
The 32 year old referee was also in charge as Uganda lost 2-1 to Algeria in the 2024 AFCON Qualifiers in a game that was held in Douala, Cameroon in 2023.
He will be deputized by Boris Marlaise Ditsoga (also from Gabon) and Carine Fomo Atezambong from Cameroon as the first and second assistant referees respectively.
Atcho’s Gabonese compatriot Cregue Fleury Moukagni Moukagni will be the fourth official while South Africa’s Enock Molefe Tshotleho will be the referee assessor.
Inacio Manuel Candido from Angola and Tina Sandra Hourau from Seychelles will be the match commissioner and security officer respectively.
