FUFA Big League: Blacks Power edge Kataka as Onduparaka woes deepen with defeat to Ntugasaze

Blacks Powers returned to winning ways with a narrow 1-0 win at Kataka during their FUFA Big League contest on Sunday at Mbale Stadium.

Andrea Ogwel netted the all important goal for Blacks Power who smiled to maximum points on the road.

Under the stewardship of Bob Obira, the result also saw Blacks Power complete a double over Kataka.

They had also last won a Big league game in January when they beat Gaddafi 2-1 in Lira since then they had lost to Busoga United and stalemates against Arua Hill and Booma respectively.

Blacks Power are now a point adrift of leaders Buhimba Saints with 34 points they have garnered in 17 games.

Meanwhile, Ntugasaze registered a second consecutive win stunning Onduparaka 1-0 in Arua thanks to James Jarieko’s 28th minute goal.

Ntugasaze are now 10th on 22 points they have garnered so far this term while the Caterpillars are 11th with the same points.

Ntugasaze came into this game after a 3-1 home win over Calvary FC in their previous game and will now host Paidha Black Angels on Sunday in their next game.

Onduparaka FC have now suffered five consecutive defeats and next visit Gaddafi FC.
