URA FC powered to a four consecutive win with a narrow 1-0 victory over KCCA FC at Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo on Wednesday.
John Innocent Kisolo who came on as substitute in the second half scored the all important goal in the 79th minute.
This was a third straight defeat for KCCA FC who made changes in their technical team last week.
The Kasasiro boys have lost both games that Magera has been in charge with the first defeat coming against BUL FC at home. Before he took over on an interim basis, they had been thrashed 4-0 by Kitara FC.
Before Kisolo’s goal, KCCA had two glorious chances with both Derrick Nsibambi and Shafik Nana Kwikiriza failing to hit the target.
Joseph Ssemujju also came close but was denied by KCCA FC goalkeeper Mutwalib Mulogofa.
In the 79th minute, the contest eventually produced a goal when Kisolo who had replaced Norman Namanya struck for the hosts.
KCCA FC are now seventh on the Uganda Premier league with 34 points after suffering their 8th defeat of the season. They will now turn focus to the Stanbic Uganda where they will meet Kaaro Karungi in the quarterfinal contest on Saturday.
For URA, this was their 13th victory in the league this term and are now third on the log.
