FUFA Sanctions Kataka FC for attack on Referees

FUFA Big League side Kataka FC has been sanctioned by the FUFA Ethics and Disciplinary Committee for physically attacking match officials.

Kataka has been found guilty for attacking match officials that handled their game against Blacks Power FC at Mbale Municipal Stadium on Sunday 30th March

“The FUFA Disciplinary Panel has sanctioned Kataka FC for breach of Article 14 of the FUFA Ethics and Disciplinary Code for incidents in which match officials were physically attacked during their FUFA Big League match against Blacks Power FC.”

“The FDP sanctioned Kataka FC with a suspended two points and two goals deduction to be imposed if the sanctioned conduct is repeated. The FDP further sanctioned Kataka FC with a fine of UGX 2,000,000.”

Kataka FC lost the game 1-0 to visitors Blacks Power FC.

They occupy the eighth position with 28 points collected from the 21 games they have so far played.
