FUFA Confirms Venue for 2025 Stanbic Uganda Cup Final

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has confirmed the venue that will host the 2025 Stanbic Uganda Cup final.

The final of the 51st edition of the competition will be played at the newly constructed Kadiba Stadium.

Kadiba Stadium construction began in 2018 at the land that was offered to FUFA by Namirembe Cathedral.

At the time of its construction, FUFA revealed that works will cover a total cost of 4.4 US million dollars( 15.4 Uganda billion shillings).

The Stanbic Uganda Cup final will be the first-ever game to be hosted by the venue. The date for the final is however yet to be revealed.

Meanwhile, the draws of the Stanbic Uganda Cup Semifinal were held on Monday, 28th April 2025 at Serene Hotel in Kampala.

Holders Kitara FC will lock horns with Vipers SC while KCCA FC have been paired against Kataka FC.

The first legs of the semis will be played on 3rd and 4th May with the second legs scheduled for 17th and 18th of the same month.

Kitara FC eliminated Vipers SC at the quarterfinal stage of the 2024 tournament as they went on to win the event with a 1-0 victory over NEC FC in the final that was held at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.
