Seven time Uganda Premier league champions Express FC will be seeking their first ever double over Mbarara City FC on Friday.

The two sides face off in the league contest at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara.

Express won the reverse fixture 3-1 at Nakivubo Stadium and victory at Kakyeka will see the Kaddu Badru coached side complete an elusive double over Mbarara City.

The Red Eagles are currently ninth on the Uganda Premier league table with 39 points while the Ankole Lions are safe from relegation following their triumph over Lugazi FC in their previous outing.

Maximum points for the Zaidi Byekwaso coached side will see them move into 12th place currently occupied by Lugazi FC.

Express FC will also be aiming at bouncing back from their humiliating 5-0 defeat against URA FC.
