Blacks Power missed the chance to move to the top of the FUFA Big League table after a 1-0 defeat to Calvary FC.
It was chance for Blacks Power to climb to the top of the log since their fellow competitors Buhimba Saints United and Gaddafi FC all didn’t have mid-week fixtures.
A stalemate could also have seen Blacks Power move to the top of the table.
They came into the contest back of a 2-0 win over Onduparaka FC but couldn’t overcome Calvary FC at Midigo Primary School.
Peter Odeke scored the all important goal for Calvary in the first period of the game to send the home faithfuls into ecstasy at Midigo Primary School playground.
Calvary held on to maximum points as well halting Blacks Power chances of moving to the top of the log.
Blacks Power remains second placed on the table with 42 points as leaders Buhimba Saints United who have played a game less.
Blacks Power next visit Paidha Black Angels at Bar Okoro Stadium while Buhimba next host bottom placed Booma at Kigaaya whereas Gaddafi have no game on Sunday.
