Vipers SC are strongly considering a move for BUL FC midfielder Jerome Kirya this transfer window, Swift Sports Uganda understands.

The Venoms are keen on signing the midfielder but sources reveal that BUL FC are not willing to lose their star player this window.

Kirya has a year left on his current employment contract at the Eastern Giants having renewed his stay in January, 2024.

Kirya joined BUL FC from Busoga United in 2021 and has been one of the outstanding performers for the Jinja based side.

Vipers are ready to boost their midfield this transfer window ahead of a busy 2025/26 Campaign with continental football on their schedule.

NEC FC midfielder Enock Ssebaggala is one of the other midfield targets for the Kitende based side. They are also eyeing KCCA FC attacker Usama Arafat.

Vipers SC has already signed Jude Ssemugabi from Kitara FC and have agreed terms with their former striker Cesar Manzoki.
