Double winning champions Vipers SC are set to renew employment contracts for their skipper Milton Karisa and experienced midfielder Patrick Paul Mbowa.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that the duo will be rewarded with a one year contract extension at Kitende.
Both players had their previous contracts expire this month but the latest indicates they will at least stay at Kitende for a further year.
Karisa first joined Vipers SC in January 2017 from BUL FC. He then moved to MC Oudja in Morocco a year later before returning to Kitende in 2020.
He has helped the Venoms to five League titles and three Uganda Cups, including winning the domestic double twice as a captain.

Mbowa joined Vipers SC at the start of the 2023/24 season from URA FC on a two year employment.

The Venoms are expected to be busy in the market this transfer window with Cesar Manzoki and Jude Ssemugabi expected to join the side.
They also remain interested in BUL FC midfielder Jerome Kirya and NEC FC’s Enock Ssebaggala.
