Three time Buganda Masaza Cup winners Mawokota have confirmed their squad for the 2025 prestigious event.
Mawokota’s squad has 2024 Most Valuable Player Amour Munogera who joined from Buweekula, last year’s winning captain with Buddu Pius Ssebulime, Konge Sazili joined from Kyaddondo, Wafula Alex from Gomba, South Sudan forward Mamur Irival from Kabula and Owen Rusongeza from Buddu.
Twin brothers George Kati and George Isingoma Wasswa from St Mary’s Secondary School Kitende are also part of the team.
Dr Lawrence Mulindwa is the team Patron with David Katono Mutono serving as the head coach.
Mutono’s assistants are Hamidu Kibirango and Ismail Afani, with Ali Kiggundu working as the goalkeepers’ coach and Harunah Kyobe as the team manager.
Mawokota will kickoff their campaign against Buweekula on Sunday 29th June at Buwama Playgrounds. They are previous winners in 2005, 2007 and 2013.
