NEC FC agrees terms with Kisugu United defender

Uganda Premier league side NEC FC has agreed terms with Kisugu United versatile player Jackson Ssembatya, Swift Sports Uganda understands.

Ssembatya will put pen to paper on a four year employment contract with the Hussein Mbalangu coached side.

He can play as a central defender as well as a left back.

NEC FC are expected to be busy in the transfer window following their continental engagements next season.

Mbalangu’s men will represent Uganda at the CAF Confederation Cup following their second place finish in the league last term.

NEC FC has already part ways with Ibrahim Thembo, Rashid Okocha, Gaddafi Wahab, Barni Kevin and Samson Kirya.

They are in contract renewal negotiations with midfielder Allan Mugalu and defender Joseph Dhata while Enock Ssebaggala is strongly linked with a move to Vipers SC this transfer window.
