Police FC have signed towering defender Benon Tahomera on a free transfer from BUL FC, Swift Sports understands.

Tahomera leaves BUL FC as a free agent as his employment contract with the Jinja based club expires.

He has agreed terms of a two year contract with Police FC who have embarked on strengthening their squad ahead of the upcoming season.

Tahomera has spent three seasons at BUL FC but found playing had to come his way.

The former Kyetume FC and MYDA FC center back spent the closing half of the 2022/23 season on loan at Busoga United.

Last season, Tahomera only managed to feature in eight league games for the Abbey Bogere Kikomeko side.

Police FC will be aiming for an improved performance having finished 11th on the table last season with 36 points accumulated.
