Newly promoted Uganda Premier league side Gaddafi FC has embarked on the search for a new head coach.
Robert Mukasa alias Kiyenje who replaced Allan Kabonge guided Gaddafi FC to the topflight division.
Swift Sports Uganda has established that Gaddafi FC president Joseph Opio Okurut is in market for a new head coach and has already contacted Badru Kaddu who is out of contract at Express FC.
Simon Peter Mugerwa a former Police FC coach is the other tactician on Gaddafi FC’s radar.
The club is also ready to recruit new players ahead of their Uganda Premier league campaign next season.
To gain toptier football, they completed the season second placed with 50 points, the same as third-placed Buhimba United Saints and the winners, Calvary (52 points).

Meanwhile, the club awaits the FUFA Executive committee on the change of identity status as they want to officially turn to Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation FC (UPPC FC) next season. The approval of admission is expected at the forthcoming FUFA Elective Assembly in Hoima.
The club is also expected to confirm a standard facility that will host their home matches for the season.
