Romanian Super Liga side Universitatea Cluj have completed the signing of Uganda Cranes defender Elio Capradossi.
Capradossi traveled to Vienna in Austria where Universitatea Cluj have camped for pre-season training to complete his medicals before signing a two year contract.
The 29 year old defender joins Universitatea Cluj as a free agent following the end of his contract with Italian side AS Citadella on June 30th.
It should be noted that it was earlier reported Capradossi was a transfer target for two Romanian clubs CFR Cluj and Rapid Bucuresti at the start of the previous season.
Born in Uganda, to a Congolese mother and an Italian father, Capradossi made his Uganda Cranes debut last year after switching allegiance from Italy.
He had previously featured for Italy in the under age national teams.
Capradossi also previously played for AS Roma, Bari, Spezia, Cagliari, SPAL, Cagliari and Lecco FC.
