Newly Promoted Uganda Premier league side Gaddafi FC is interested in appointing former KCCA FC boss Abdallah Mubiru, Swift Sports Uganda understands.
Mubiru has emerged as the leading contender to take over from Robert Mukasa alias Kiyenje who guided the Entebbe side to UPL promotion.
Gaddafi FC quickly to name a new permanent coach in preparation for the 2025/26 season slated to kickoff on 26th September.
Gaddafi FC have also enquired about the availability of Express FC’s Badru Kaddu and have also held talks with former Police FC coach Simon Peter Mugerwa.
The latest indicates that is currently in pole position to take over reins at the Entebbe based side. Mubiru is currently unemployed since his departure at KCCA FC in April this year.
He has previously coached teams like KCCA FC, Police FC, Proline FC, Vipers SC, Mbeya City FC and Uganda Cranes where he was assistant to Jonathan McKinstry.
