Striker Sam Ssenyonjo is set to complete his move to Rwanda Premier League side Police FC.

Ssenyonjo is a free agent after parting ways with Express FC when his contract expired last month.

He emerged among the best performers in the Uganda Premier League after scoring 12 goals and two assists in 24 games with Express FC.

A player, Ssenyonjo burst to the scene with KCCA FC in 2019 before moving to Wakiso Giants and Soltilo Bright Stars and thereafter Express.

He has also been a transfer target for Ghanaian side Asante Kotoko but his move to West Africa is highly ruled out.

Rwanda Police FC is home to the Ugandan trio of Ashiraf Mandela, Eric Ssenjobe and Allan Kateregga.

Police FC finished fourth on the Rwanda Premier League table last season with 45 points accumulated from 30 games played.
