BUGANDA REGIONAL LEAGUE: Simba shows exit door to eight ahead of new season

Buganda Regional League side Simba FC have confirmed the departure of eight players.

The Namulonge based side used their official social media platforms to confirm the list of players that will not be part of their squad next season.

Umar Kayemba, Bashir Mobin, Benjamin Nsubuga, goalkeeper Joseph Yiga are some of the players that will leave.

Others are Kato Yusuf, Patrick Oyeet, Peter Kaye and Joseph Kaye.

Simba FC are also in search for a new head coach following the departure of Alex Gitta who left the team at the end of the season.

They already confirmed the return of Sam Ssemugugu from UPL side Lugazi FC.

Calvin Peter Emayo, Moses Kasagga, Yuda Taddeo Ddumba and Faisal Ssekyanzi are the other new signings that have joined Simba FC.

Simba FC finished last season second in Katonga Group with 47 points, five behind Super Eagles who played in the Promotional play off final and defeated Kira United to emerge winners of the 2024-25 Buganda Regional League season.
