Left back Isma Kawawulo has confirmed his departure at Uganda Premier league side NEC FC.
The towering defender used his social media platforms to confirm his departure at the Hussein Mbalangu coached side.
“I would like to on a special note thank you for granting me an opportunity to work with this mighty team. My gratitude goes out to the coaching staff, my fellow players, the fans and management for enabling my stay at NEC FC a fruitful one.” Noted Kawawulo
He joined NEC FC at the start of the 2024/25 season from seven time UPL champions Express FC.
Kawawulo is a former Maroons FC and Busoga United left back and has also represented Uganda in Beach Soccer.
The left back joins Enock Ssebaggala who joined Vipers SC, Rashid Okocha (Jamus SC), and Ibrahim Thembo among the players to exit NEC FC.
