Kenya Premier league side Tusker FC has confirmed the departure of nine players including three Ugandan players.
Boban Zirintusa, former Express FC midfielder John Byamukama and Deogratious Ojok are the Ugandan trio to exit Tusker FC.
Simon Nzau, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Tusker FC thanked the players for their services while at the club.
“We thank each of them for their service, commitment, and contributions during their time at Ruaraka. Their efforts have been integral to the team, both on and off the pitch, and they leave with our sincere gratitude.”

Ojok, who joined Tusker FC in 2021 from Uganda Premier League side BUL FC, initially signed a two-year deal before extending his stay for another season.
Zirintusa joined Tusker FC in July last year and has locally featured for Express FC, Busoga United and Vipers (formerly know as Bunamwaya) in the Uganda Premier League.
Zirintusa also played for Buildcon (Zambia), Highfield United and Dynamos (Zimbabwe), Mohun Bagan (India), Polokwane City (South Africa) and Ethiopia’s Coffee.
Byamukama joined the Kenyan side in 2023 and has previously featured for Gaddafi FC, Tooro United, Express FC in the Uganda Premier League and Bumate United in the Big League.
Other players shown the exit at Tusker FC are James Kibande, Luke Namanda, David Odoyo, Mike Oduor and Lawrence Luvanda.
Tusker FC finished 4th on the Kenyan Premier League table last season with 57 points having won 15, drawn 12 and 7 defeats.
