Uganda Cranes CHAN technical staff has named the traveling squad for the CECAFA Pre-CHAN Tournament in Arusha.
NEC FC goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo, defender Ronald Otti, and midfielder Shamir Kimwero are the three players dropped from the squad to Arusha.
Ssebwalunyo impressed for NEC last season but misses out with Joel Mutakubwa (BUL FC), Crispus Kusiima (Kitara FC), and Denis Kiggundu (Vipers SC) the three goalkeepers named.
Defender Ronald Otti who was at Kitara FC last term and NEC FC midfielder Shamir Kimwero are the others who have been left out.
The CECAFA Four Nations Tournament, scheduled for July 21–27 in Arusha, will serve as a preparation tournament for the Cranes ahead of the CHAN tournament.
Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Senegal will feature in the Pre-CHAN Tournament that will be played in a round robin format.
