Former Mbarara City goalkeeper joins Buganda Regional League side Simba FC

Buganda Regional League side Simba FC have confirmed the signing of former Mbarara City FC goalkeeper Hakim Nsamba.

He comes in to replace Yiga Joseph who was among the eight players that have already left.

Nsamba is also a former player of Kasese New Villa, Sun City FC and Foto FC.

Moses Kasagga, Calvin Pater Emayo, Faisal Ssekyanzi are some of the new recruits at Simba FC.

Sam Ssemugugu also rejoined them from UPL side Lugazi FC.

Peter Kaye, Joseph Kizza, Patrick Oyeet, Yusuf Kato, Joseph Yiga, Umar Kayemba, Bashir Mobin and Benjamin Nsubuga have already left the Namulonge based side as previously confirmed by the team.

They are also in search of a new head coach following the departure of Alex Gitta.

Simba FC missed out on playing in the Promotional play off final of the Buganda Region last season after finishing second in Katonga Group with 47 points five behind Super Eagles Lugongwe.
